How good is the coffee?

The espresso extraction rate could range from 18 to 22%, meeting the gold cup standard with little effort. Staresso Pro has a pressurized filter basket with a valve, meaning the pressure builds as you plunge. Once it attains the 15-20 bar pressure, the valve releases the coffee and extracts the Cream and flavor from the puck. Because the pressure is high, you can use the Staresso Mini to make either espresso with hot water or cold brew coffee with iced water.

Can we use staresso plus with nespresso capsules or it uses grinded coffee only?

Sorry, staresso plus does not support pods, but you can choose staresso classic and staresso travel, they are compatible with pods

How to make dry coffee puck？

After extracting you could loosen the pressure regulator to release all pressure. Then it should keep pumping till all the water is out. Now turn upside down the coffee basket and you would get a perfect coffee cookie.

How long does the coffee maker take to make a shot?

About 2 minutes for entire process, 40 seconds or less for the pumping.

Is the material safe？

Does this make more espresso than the SP-200?

Yes, this coffee machine can make up to 75ml of espresso, which is twice as much as the sp-200. The sp-300 has a maximum capacity of 120ml. If you prefer a less strong concentrate, you can get 80-90ml of coffee concentrate.

Is it easy to make coffee？

Yes, Staresso Plus is extremely user-friendly. It takes less than one minute to make coffee. Also, it won't require much strength due to the vertical pressing design.

I like it and the coffee is great plus you have like a ritual when you prepare it but if you are a heavy coffee drinker this might not be your product because it's not the fastest of them all but it's the most fun for sure :)

Bought this as a gift for our son. I couldn’t believe how amazing the espresso turned out…beautiful crema and tasted better than our expensive espresso machine!

Great portable espresso maker!

This makes as good an espresso as my home console machine. I use the same grind settings with a medium roast bean. Great crema.
Once I figured out how to dry out the puck after brewing, it just made it even better. Honestly, that was my only complaint, the grinds were soupy and made cleanup without a sink difficult. Called customer service and they told me how to dry out the puck. Makes cleanup s breeze. Tip: keep the pressure check valve clean to get consistent pour.

Starresso and grinder

The little machine works great. It took some trial and error to get a good espresso but once you’ve dialed it in, I think it’s pretty high quality. The parts are mostly all metal and well made so they should last. I got the grinder too and am very pleased with its construction. I wish the stand was a little taller so you can fit a coffee mug underneath it without having to elevate it. But adding some wooden blocks works too. Overall I am very pleased with the products and the espresso quality.
