Does this manual coffee grinder come with three burrs?
Yes, the package included three burrs. Please note that the No. 2 BALANCE Grinding Burr is already installed in the grinder.
How do I know which grinding burr to use for different types of coffee bean?
When you first start out, you can choose your grinding burr based on the type of coffee bean and how it has been roasted.
01 CLEAN: Ideal for medium-dark to dark roasts (e.g., Blue Mountain, Mandheling).
02 BALANCE: Perfect for medium roast beans with complex profiles (e.g., Geisha).
03 RICH: Best for light roasts (e.g., Kenyan).
Depending on personal preferences and brewing method, we strongly recommend trying different grinding burrs to brew the same type of coffee beans. You will notice the flavour variations brought about by each burr and understand our message: Three burrs, three expressions.
How many grams of coffee beans can be ground at a time?
D9+ MATRIX coffee grinder can grind up to 30 grams of coffee beans at a time.
