This manual espresso maker is the perfect combination of great taste, convenience, and compactness.
good taste
Although this product is manual, it has enough pressure to brew authentic espresso. The extracted espresso is rich and very flavorful.
Convenience
Even amateurs can extract with easy and simple operations. Surprisingly, the process of manual extraction is one of the most enjoyable moments.
Compactness
Its lightweight and compact size makes it ideal for use in small kitchens. I don't do it, but it seems suitable for outdoor use.
The only disadvantage is that it is troublesome to dispose of the powder after extraction. (Mine is an older model and I have a hard time getting the powder out of the basket)
Even considering the disadvantages, this manual espresso maker is a highly recommended product that has all three features: great taste, convenience, and compactness.
Quick and easy to use. Kind of messy to clean up the used coffee puck (too wet). I waited a good while till this went on sale to buy; I'm happy with my long-awaited purchase. I think if I were to buy again, I would get the larger models rather than the travel model, as I don't actually travel that often.

I like STARESSO products, and I wanted to buy their espresso maker mini for portability, and it is as promised. It is super portable and lightweight yet a decent size to make an espresso for a single cup of latte. It also comes with a box, which is convenient for travel and carry, and the microfibre cloth is a nice touch. I am happy with my purchase, and I would recommend the product!

Hot water or cold water?
You can use both hot water and cold water, but we do recommend hot water. You can get a better espresso with hot water.

It's totally safe! The materials we use are all approved by the FDA, and in the design and selection of materials, we adhere to the principles and ensure the quality of espresso.
Can Staresso Travel adopt to both coffee capsule and coffee grounds?
Yes, Staresso Travel adopts both of them.
What coffee ground size can I use?
We recommend using medium-fine-grind coffee grounds to brew, which can fit 10g coffee powder,or 5-6g size capsules.
Can I clean it with water?
Yes. The Staresso Travel does not require a battery, it is waterproof and completely washable. usually you just need to use running water to wash and dry it,and you don't need to take it all apart.
How long does the coffee maker take to make a shot? How long from start to finish and specifically how long for the pumping?
Around 2 minutes for the entire process, 40 seconds or less for the pumping.
do I need to tamp it?
Yes, you do need to tamp it.
Does it require a lot of force to operate?
No, refer to your pumping knowledge of bicycles and basketball, but you may want to let it sit on a firm surface.
Does it go in with carry-on luggage?
Yes! You can enjoy an espresso on the plane while flying around!
